On April 3th and 4th 2009 the 2nd Direct Selling festival is taking Place in Dubai. No wonder since Dubai is known as one of the most booming regions of the world. Strategically it is considered as a hub linking Europe, Africa and Asia. Dubai has an upstate, which consists of three continents, 136 nations, 3,2 billion people and around 18,3 trillion US-Dollars gross domestic product. Direct sellers, which are thinking about further expansion or the foundation of a daughter company in the Middle East, North Africa or Asia, will find a tremendous market potential. This is due to the fact, that the population of the United Arabian Emirates is a mix of different nationalities.
Everything fits together: the high market potential, the large middle class that wants to make a better living and the willingness of direct sellers for expansion.
