The joint fundraising efforts of Vemma Nutrition Company and their partner, the non-profit, Children's Miracle Network begin September 1st. For three months of the year, beginning now, Vemma will proudly display the Children's Miracle Network logo on the bottles of Vemma NEXT, their premium liquid children's supplement. The three year partnership will bring awareness to the important work Children's Miracle Network is doing and help raise funds for the organization's network of 170 children's hospitals. |

Herbalife Ltd. a global nutrition and direct-selling company, announced that its agreement to buy certain assets of Micelle Laboratories, an Orange County, Calif. contract manufacturer of food and nutritional supplements, has closed. Herbalife purchased the assets in order to strengthen its global manufacturing capabilities for approximately $10 million in an all cash deal. Over the next year, Herbalife expects to invest up to $10 million in equipment and overall enhancements to increase plant capacity and capability to produce products for shipment throughout North America and several of its international markets. |
