For most of the participants of an international conference call on march, 9th 2010 it must have been the news which they already had been waiting for so long and impatiently when MonaVie CEO Dallin Larson announced officially the pre-launch phase for Germany. According to Larson it will be possible, earlier than originally planned, to get signed up as distributor by the middle of april. Amway's parent company, Alticor Inc., announced according to press reports record sales of more than US$8.4 billion for the year ended December 2009, which was a 2.3 percent increase over 2008. Sales were, however, negatively impacted by foreign currency fluctuations, which in local currency grew 5.9 percent. "Our focus on using innovation to transform the Amway business is showing results," said chairman Steve Van Andel. "The global economy challenged every business in 2009. Our continuing investment in products, technology, and connecting with consumers helped us weather the storm."

Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. (NYSE: PPD) announced that effective April 2, 2010, its founder and current Chief Executive Officer, President and Chairman of the Board, Mr. Harland C. Stonecipher, 71, will relinquish the title and responsibilities of Chief Executive Officer and President. At the suggestion of Mr. Stonecipher, the Board of Directors unanimously approved that the title and responsibilities of Chief Executive Officer will be shared equally by two co-CEOs - Randy Harp, 54, Pre-Paid's current Chief Operating Officer, and Mark Brown, 56, Pre-Paid's current Chief Marketing Officer. Andrea Jung, chief executive of Avon Products and the only woman on Apple's seven-person board of directors, will serve as the co-lead director at Thursday's shareholder meeting. Jung was quietly named co-lead director in December, when Apple listed her new designation on page 8 of its December proxy statement. The change was highlighted by Bloomberg, which said that the nomination of a company "outsider" will quell complaints from some that Apple co-founder Steve Jobs had "too much sway over a group of hand-picked directors."

After allegedly stealing more than $700,000 worth of products from Nu Skin and selling them online, three Utah County residents were charged Friday with theft and conspiracy to commit theft. From April 2009 until his arrest Thursday, Scott Lazerson was receiving stolen products from Nu Skin employees in Provo, court documents say. With Elizabeth Craig and Brady Harper, Lazerson stored products in a storage shed in Orem and sold them on eBay. Craig and Harper used their personal PayPal accounts to process the payments.
