The business model markets nutritional products on a network marketing plattform in which the distributors receive their share of the turnover made by salespeople they recruited in addition to the amount of money they earn selling Trump Network products. The Trump Network, however, yet did not answer the media article.

Camden is the place where TNI officially opened its new UK office. Independant Product Consultants (IPC) from Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands as well as from the UK had come to attend the formal ribbon cutting ceremony which was hosted by none other than Charlie Smith, TNI’s Vice President of Operation from the Head Office in Utah. Among the special guests was also Richard Berry, Director of the DSA UK (Direct Sellig Association) who emphasized in an address the enormous potential of direct selling particularly in these times of economical turbulences and congratulated TNI on its magnificent new location.

The direct selling company USANA was recognized last week by MountainWest Capital Network as one of the state’s top 15 companies for revenue growth. Top Revenue Growth award winners had the largest dollar amount of revenue growth from 2004 through 2008. The US-company XanGo, LLC, is launching a distributor growth initiative in Russia, Kazakhstan and the Ukraine, all countries that are a part of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The Grand Opening for this new market will occur on October 10 -11, 2009, at the Small Sport Arena in Moscow. “The time is right, and with the encouragement and support of the XanGo Board, XanGo is poised to grow in the CIS region,” said XanGo CEO Robert Conlee. “Direct sales has been well accepted there for many years,” Conlee explained, “and Russia is known globally as one of the top 10 direct sales markets in the world.” However, the industry has experienced some upheaval in the region related to the global economic uncertainty, and Conlee sees XanGo as offering a solution to veteran networkers: stability and an opportunity to grow with an established, successful company. |

Vorwerk Direct Selling Ventures, the corporate venture capital entity of the Vorwerk Group, has acquired a minority shareholding in Austrian direct selling company Enjo International GmbH. Enjo International develops, produces and distributes household cleaning products based on fibre technology. Enjo products are available globally in nearly 30 countries. Retail sales in 2009 will exceed € 40 million of which 60% are earned outside Europe. With its new partner Vorwerk Ventures, the company aims at further expanding its market position and boosting international growth. The parties have agreed to keep the details of the investment confidential.
